
Shahid Alhafed(Sahrawi Refugee Camps), Dec 25, 2009 (SPS) – The Sahrawi Youth Organization, UJSARIO, called Thursday on the political leadership of the Polisario Front to halt negotiations with the Moroccan occupant and not to enter the new round of talks before the release of all Sahrawi political detainees, in particular the seven human rights activists in the Moroccan prison of Sale.
The call was launched during the executive bureau meeting of the organization, chaired by its Secretary-General, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Mr. Moussa Selma, where the Bureau stressed in statement that the seven Sahrawi activists of human rights before any negotiations could take place.
This comes at the time the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Western Sahara, Mr. Christopher Ross, tries to hold a second meeting of informal negotiations between the Polisario Front and Morocco, early next year.
